Brie Crostini 4 Ways

Crispy toasted baguette slices topped with creamy Brie and your choice of four toppings: sweet strawberry and honey, smoky bacon with hot honey and chives, juicy grape and thyme, or classic honey with sea salt. These elegant bites are fast, flavorful, and perfect for entertaining.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Baguette sliced into ½-inch rounds
  • Olive oil for brushing
  • 8 oz Brie cheese sliced into thin slices
Toppings for Strawberry, Basil, & Honey
  • Fresh strawberries thinly sliced
  • Fresh basil
  • Honey
Toppings for Bacon, Hot Honey, & Chives
  • 2 slices Cooked bacon crumbled
  • Hot honey store bought or homemade
  • Fresh chives chopped
Toppings for Grape, Hot Honey, and Thyme
  • Red or black grapes roasted optional
  • Hot honey
  • Fresh thyme sprigs
Honey & Sea Salt
  • Honey
  • Flaky sea salt

Equipment

  • Sharp knife

Method
 

  1. Make the Crostini with Brie
    Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
    Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet in a single layer and lightly brush the tops with olive oil.
    Bake for 4–5 minutes, just until the tops start to crisp.
    Remove the baking sheet from the oven and carefully place a slice of Brie on each crostini.
    Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for another 2–3 minutes, or until the Brie is soft and slightly melty.
Strawberry, Basil & Honey
  1. Add 2–3 thin strawberry slices to each crostini.
  2. Tuck in a fresh basil leaf alongside the Brie.
  3. Drizzle generously with honey.
Bacon, Hot Honey & Chives
  1. Sprinkle crumbled bacon over the warm Brie.
  2. Drizzle with hot honey in a zigzag motion.
  3. Finish with a pinch of finely chopped chives.
Grape, Hot Honey & Thyme
  1. Place 2–3 grape halves on top of the Brie.
  2. Drizzle with hot honey.
  3. Garnish with a tiny thyme sprig.
Honey & Sea Salt
  1. Drizzle each crostini generously with honey.
  2. Top with a pinch of flaky sea salt.
