- Preheat & PrepPreheat your oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a baking dish.
- Caramelize the ApplesHeat the butter in a skillet over medium heat.Add diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and a pinch of salt.Cook for 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples soften and become glossy and caramelized.Remove from heat and set aside.
- Make the Cheese BaseIn a bowl, mix together:cream cheese, chopped brie, shredded Gruyère or white cheddar, Dijon mustard, thyme, salt & pepper.It doesn’t have to be perfectly smooth, small chunks of Brie will melt beautifully.Spread the mixture evenly into your dish.
- Add Apples & BakeSpoon the caramelized apples evenly over the cheese mixture.Bake uncovered for 15–18 minutes, until the edges are bubbling and the center is melty.
- Add Bacon & FinishSprinkle the crumbled bacon evenly over the hot dip.Drizzle lightly with honey or maple syrup for a glossy, sweet-savory finish.Garnish with extra thyme or rosemary.
