Prep Time 20 minutes
Servings: 12 Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 12 slices White or whole wheat bread
  • 4 oz Cream cheese softened
  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • ½ tsp Dijon Mustard
  • ¼ tsp Garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 slices Deli turkey or chicken
  • 2 Cucumbers thinly sliced
  • 6 Cherry tomatoes halved

Equipment

  • Flower-shaped cookie cutter
  • Cutting Board
  • Sharp knife
  • Small mixing bowl

Method

  1. Cut the Bread into Flowers
Use a flower-shaped cookie cutter to cut out flower shapes from the bread slices. You’ll need 24 pieces total—2 per sandwich. Press firmly for clean edges.
  2. Make the Garlic Cream Spread
In a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth and creamy.
Assemble the Sandwiches
  1. Spread a thin layer of the garlic cream spread on each bread flower.
  2. On half of them, layer with a folded slice of deli meat and 1–2 thin cucumber slices.
  3. Top with a second flower-shaped bread slice, spread-side down.
  4. Add the Tomato Center
Gently press half a cherry tomato into the center of each sandwich and secure with a toothpick. This gives it a beautiful pop of color—just like the center of a real flower!
  5. Serve or Store
Arrange the sandwiches on a tray. If not serving immediately, cover them with a damp paper towel and plastic wrap, then refrigerate until ready to serve.
