- Prep the Puff PastryPreheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll each sheet of puff pastry into a rectangle, about 12x10 inches.
- Make the FillingIn a medium bowl, stir together the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, diced jalapeños, and green onions.
- AssembleSpread the filling evenly over one sheet of puff pastry. Lay the second sheet directly on top, pressing gently to sandwich the filling.
- Cut & TwistUsing a sharp knife or pizza cutter, slice the pastry into strips about 1 inch wide. Twist each strip several times and arrange on the baking sheet.
- Brush & SprinkleBrush each twist with the beaten egg to give them that golden bakery shine. Sprinkle generously with everything bagel seasoning, sesame seeds, or even grated Parmesan.
- BakeBake for 15–18 minutes, until puffed and golden brown.
- Make the Cool Ranch-Style DipWhile the twists bake, whip up the dip. In a bowl, stir together sour cream, mayo, lemon juice, and garlic. Fold in dill, chives, and onion powder. Season with salt and pepper. Chill for at least 20 minutes to let the flavors mingle.
