Whipped Feta & Cucumber Wonton Cups with Hot Honey Drizzle

These crispy wonton cups are filled with creamy whipped feta, topped with fresh cucumber ribbons, and finished with a sweet-spicy drizzle of hot honey. A quick and elegant appetizer perfect for parties, showers, or warm-weather entertaining.

Ingredients
  

For the Wonton Cups
  • 24 Wonton wrappers
  • Olive oil spray or melted butter
  • Salt
For the Whipped Feta Filling
  • 6 oz Feta Cheese ¾ cup
  • 3 oz Cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • Freshly ground black pepper
For Topping
  • 1 Persian cucumber or ½ English cucumber thinly sliced or ribboned
  • 2 tbsp Chopped fresh dill or mint
  • Hot honey store-bought or mix ¼ cup honey + ½ tsp chili flakes or hot sauce
  • Crushed pistachios or chopped walnuts for crunch optional

Equipment

  • Mini muffin tin
  • Pastry brush or olive oil spray
  • Food processor or high speed blender
  • Small mixing bowl
  • Small spoon or piping bag
  • Knife and cutting board or vegetable peeler

Method
 

  1. Make the wonton cups:
    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Press wonton wrappers into a mini muffin tin. Lightly spray or brush with olive oil or melted butter. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt. Bake 8–10 minutes until golden and crisp. Cool completely.
  2. Prepare the whipped feta:
    In a food processor, blend feta, cream cheese, olive oil, and lemon juice until smooth and fluffy. Season with black pepper.
  3. Assemble the cups:
    Spoon or pipe whipped feta into cooled wonton cups. Top with cucumber ribbons or slices. Sprinkle with fresh herbs and nuts (if using).
  4. Finish with a drizzle of hot honey:
    Just before serving for a sweet-spicy finish that wakes everything up.
